Gators Continue to Build Momentum Against Nazareth

Our 35 Gators took on the 114-member Nazareth Narwhals on Tuesday, finishing with 119 points, a slight dip from our previous meet. A handful of disqualifications left some points on the table, but we'll continue refining our technique and race execution as the season progresses.

The team logged 83 splashes, or individual race entries, another strong sign of participation and commitment. Even more encouraging, swimmers recorded 46 personal best times during those races.

Two more rookies overcame their nerves to compete in their first swim meet, and six additional Gators earned qualifying times for the Championship Meet. Leading the team in scoring were Rommie Robins and Isis Watts.

Our Gators return to action Thursday against the Belvidere Barracudas. If you have not yet declared your swimmer's availability, please do so tonight. We also encourage families to sign up to volunteer, as it takes everyone working together to make our meets successful.

Friday's practice will feature our 5th Annual AmeriCan Food Drive. A list of requested items has been shared. Please bring donations to Friday's practice, or drop them off anytime this week if your family will be unable to attend on Friday.
