"Black Monday"

Rare Monday meet tonight kicking off a week filled with A LOT of swimming. Wear your Black Easton gear tonight (or any black shirt). 

Our preliminary lineup for tonight's meet is attached and your swimmer's events are also available to see on the mobile app. Please note that this is a PRELIMINARY lineup and is subject to change.

A quick rundown on how dual meets work (still have a few new swimmers):

• Plan to arrive around 4:30 ( this is earlier than usual, once the sun dips behind the trees it can look later than it is and we want everybody to swim safe) to give your swimmer & family time to set their chairs, tents, etc..
• There will be 2 warm up sessions home team followed by the visiting team. During that time there will be meetings for timers and officials.
• Each Team is allowed up to 3 scoring swimmers (3 scoring relay teams) per event. This scoring group or "heat" swims 1st in what is called a live heat. Other swimmers may swim the event in what are called exhibition heats. Exhibition heats are not scored, they are timed and the times are official for the swimmers and able to be used to qualify for Championships.
• Each swimmer is allowed to swim up to 4 events but no more than 3 individual events common combinations will be 2 relays + 2 individuals, or 1 relay + 3 individuals X. If your swimmer has an x of exh next to their event it means they are swimming in an exhibition heat. Exhibition heat times are official for the swimmers and able to be used to qualify for Championships.
• All swimmers stay until the meet is over even if they are done swimming. One of the great aspects of being on a summer swim team is the camaraderie. We all cheer for teammates in the beginning, during and at the end of the meet.
