Good Morning,

It’s meet day!

I know for some of our new swimmers and swim families it can feel a little overwhelming but don’t worry we’ve got a great group here and we’ll walk you though where your swimmer needs to be when, your volunteer assignments, etc. so everybody has a gear experience.

Lineup:

The lineup is done and attached below. The lineup is subject to changes over the next few hours (things happens, illness etc). We’ll have the updates and make your swimmer aware of any changes.

On the attached doc you’ll see your swimmer’s name and their races. H= Heat, it’s the “group” they’ll race in. L=Lane, it’s the lane they’ll race in. EXH or X = means they are in a exhibition heat, the times still count towards Champs and records but EXH heats are non scoring. Some swimmers have times next to their name/events if you don’t( or have NT= no time) it’s because we don’t have a race time for you yet you’ll have one after today!

Arrival

Please be at the pool by 5. Your swimmer will check in and sit with the team. If your volunteering please a check in with Kevin Rizzardi, he’ll be the tall gentlemen with a clipboard calling for volunteers. If you’re volunteering at a later meet and are a spectator today feel free to set up a chair and wait for the meet to start. Our team will warm first, then our opponents, national anthem, then the excitement starts ( at around 6). Swimmers stay with the team, they can check in with you but if our parent marshallers or coaches call their name to lineup and they aren’t there they run the risk of missing their race, it’s disappointing for them and you and hurts the team.

Post meet

We stay until the last race is over. If your swimmers events are done they should be cheering their teammates on.

After the last race we’ll “nice meet” the other team and meet on the hill by the upper pavilion while those who volunteered to break down the pool (thanks) take care of the tents and tables.

Results

Soon as I get ‘em you’ll get ‘em. Individual races should be updated on the swimtopia app. I’ll post the full team results as soon as they’re available post meet.

Looks like ti going to be sunny, so we are looking to have a lot of fun tonight.
