Easton Aquatic Club is ready to Dive Into Summer

Easton summer swim team is back and registering swimmers now.

EASTON, PA- Easton Aquatic Club (EAC) registration is now open and the team is looking forward to getting back in the water this summer at Heil Pool in southside Easton. EAC, a nonprofit organization, provides swimmers in the Easton area an opportunity to have fun and enhance their swimming ability through application of the latest techniques while promoting core values of education, character, leadership and competition. They compete locally in the Penn Jersey Summer League a local summer swim league. “The past two years have been rough, we weren't in the water at all in 2020 and last summer was an abbreviated season," said head coach and team president Carlton Taylor. “The coaches and I are looking forward to a full season to work with swimmers.” EAC is one of 8 teams that compete in the Penn Jersey Swim League, which holds meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at area pools. Practices are Monday through Friday mornings at Heil. While EAC accepts swimmers of all backgrounds and abilities, ages 6-18, they have training groups set up to provide each swimmer the appropriate level of instruction. “We pride ourselves on being a lot of area swimmers first swim team.” Coach Carlton continued, ” The fact that our staff, Trinity Scalfaro, Brenek Strawn and Victoria Mowad all swam for Easton Aquatic Club and have come back to coach speaks to the quality of the program.”
